We are so excited about our 4th year as a Camarena Safety Patrol and all the hard work we put in over the last few years! This year we are committed to being more prepared, better role models, and above all us keep our Camarena families safely getting to and from school each day. Here are some of our goals set by our very own patrol members…<
“My goals are actually really simple. I want to make safety patrol this year the best that it can be. Not only by keeping the school safe but also by being a great role model to all of the students here at Camarena. All the way from t-k to the sixth graders. In conclusion I want Camarena to be a safe place, a place where parents to be confident about keeping their kids in school and hopefully I will make this happen.”
“I am going to do my very best to help any new members, I will be safe and not mess around. Also, its important not to be bossy and be cooperative because Safety Patrol is part of a group work and nobody will like you if you aren’t respectful. I will also be responsible, honest, modest, caring, i will persevere, and i will be patient.”
“My goal is to perfectly execute the purpose of safety patrol, not to be the best member, but to do the best that I can. I am going to be a great squad member by assisting students in crossing the crosswalk safely and respecting all members of the community on and off duty.”
“My goals are to be the best assistant squad leader I can be. I will do this buy encouraging everyone including myself to wear the full uniform, come on time, clean up after yourselves and everyone else and most importantly keep students safe.”
“I am going to be an excellent squad leader. My goals are to make sure I be a good leader and make sure everything is in order in my squad. I will also try to get promoted and never get demoted. I will make sure I am being responsible by going to every Safety Patrol Meeting and arriving at my job on time everyday. I am going to show everyone how awesome Safety Patrol is by helping drivers and pedestrians cross the road safely while also being very respectful to them.”
“My goal for safety patrol is to help parents and students to exit campus as soon as possible and get home safely. In order to be a loyal safety patrol member, I will follow all rules. These rules are helping students get picked up safely and quickly on the curbside, keep the flow of traffic going, and following the safety patrol experts around campus. I will also be aware not to goof around, eat breakfast before I get to school, be on time, wear proper uniform while on duty, and to be a role model to students around me.”
